DanzMacabre Quarterly/ShattersFear Anthology guidelines

We’re in the process of updating our guidelines for DanzMacabre and Shattersfear, but for the moment, we’re open to all submissions for horror, thriller, splatterfest of any length.
We run three types - serials - flash and standalone standards.

Serials - our current featured Serial Writer, Jaden Trinsic has pledged to update her storyline monthly - so between Quarterly editions, we’ll have stories still to send. If you’d like to JOIN her in writing a serial, part of a horror story, monthly, then please submit to monthlydanz@kaiberie.com - with Serial query in the subject line.

Flash - quick, scary, dirty, that’s how we like our flash - send it to flasheditor@creaturesofthewrite.com with Flash SUBMISSION in your subject line. We define flash as 1000 words or less.

Standard Standalones - our main fare - Standard Standalones are scary, standalone horror stories that chill, thrill and make us shiver. - up to 3000 words.

We are currently a NON PAYING market, though as soon as that changes, we intend to offer retroactive honorariums, and will update our guidelines when we are able to pay.
We also one free copy and 50% discounts on copies for our writers.

Shattersfear is our yearly ‘best of’ anthology. Every Year we’ll choose the best stories we’ve had, add a couple of competition winners and placements, give it a shake and release it. You CAN ask to be included in the anthology only - these people will be added on merit, based on what the anthology looks like - so all ‘anthology only’ acceptances are, of course, provisional.
