This month, in terms of work, has been incredibly packed and incredibly dissapointing.  Packed because, of course, its been too busy for words lately – I’ve been writing and working with clients flat out for the past four weeks, which, in turn, means that I have no ‘spare’ words to post anywhere.

In the coming weeks though, as things settle, I’m hoping to ressurect a couple of much adored projects, including ‘Dark Horizons’, a blook about a town and its inhabitants – all I gotta do at the moment is install the software and we’re good to go :)

In the coming weeks though, there will probably be quite a few changes to how I run my blogs.  I’ve cracked, at last, running a multi wordpress install, and I’m now trying to decide how best to integrate it all – so if things suddenly change over here, I apologize ;)

This month, I’d love to see some dark macabric flash – if you’ve got it, trot it out.  If its set in a carnival, all the better.
We’re posting on the 1st of April or so, so get those entries in today!

I myself am going to start a small blook – a story that starts in a carnival, and is called ‘dark horizons’.  I hope you enjoy it!

Shock me, scare me, make me hide, but do it in less than 1000 words. Disgust me, revile me, or terrify me if you can.

There is no entry fee to this - the winning stories will be published in an ISBN’d anthology of the best flash horror we can collect.
We ask for non exclusive rights - all authors included in the anthology will recieve a portion of the fee, based on how many stories we run, and how many authors that tallies up to.
Other prizes include - one year of free hosting and a free wordpress blog install and customisation.
There is also an as yet unnanounced grand prize and some other goodies.

We’ll post the official guidelines and other information in the coming weeks, once we’ve finalised the prizes, but for now, get writing! Our deadline is April 1st 2007.
